A 13-year-old Lewiston newsboy really put his foot in it yesterday afternoon.
According to police, the youngster was “horsing around” with other boys next to the city building when his foot went through a large window in the municipal court judge’s chambers. Broken glass was strewn over law books and the floor.
The youngsters were rounded up by Juvenile Officer Ernest Labrie for a lecture about such shenanigans — and, of course, damages.

Mark Mutty, communications director for the diocese, said rumors of the sale of the hockey arena on Birch Street in Lewiston are unfounded.
The 28-year-old facility has remained on the market since July, when developer Stephen L. Griswald allowed his purchase option to expire.
