Capt. Mark Libbey, the aerospace officer for the squadron, and Cadet Senior Airman Austin Alameder completed the project with assistance from Maj. Lewis Curtis.

Civil Air Patrol promotes the use of aerospace education to motivate cadets to excel in science, math, technology, language arts and other traditional subjects.

Maine Wing Cadets also have the opportunity to be engaged in leadership, character education, physical fitness, emergency services, orientation flights and aerospace career exploration. CAP promotes the future aviators, engineers, technicians. CAP helps protect America’s aerospace supremacy by introducing cadets to careers through summer camps, job shadowing and mentoring opportunities with today’s aero professionals.
