MONMOUTH — Funeral services were held on Saturday for Richard “Dick” Kemp at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home. Pastor Ed Spencer officiated at the service. Granddaughter-in-law, Leticia Kemp spoke on behalf of the family. Many memories and stories were shared by his son, Rick. Memories were also shared by family friend, Hugh Lemaster. Family, friends and classmates also spoke of fond memories. Pallbearers were his sons and grandsons, Max Kemp, Chad Kemp, Brian Goucher, Zack Kemp, Scott Kemp, Brandon Kemp, Rick Kemp, Shaun Goucher, Kyle Brown and Jeff Kemp. Granddaughters, Krystin Kemp, Kylie Kemp and Sarah Boilard were flower carriers. The casket was carried to the cemetery in the back of an old pick-up truck that Dick had built; many old cars and trucks were in the funeral procession. A reception was held at Monmouth Fish & Game after the interment. Interment at Leeds Plains Cemetery in Leeds.
