The Gingerbread House on Main Street in Norway has been lowered onto its foundation. James Merry & Sons of Scarborough arrived at the site Thursday to lower the house and to begin the process of removing the girders that held it up before the foundation was put in. Next to James Merry, right, is Steve Merry, unscrewing large bolts that held each girder in place. The next step is expected to be laying bricks to cap the cement foundation.
