WINDHAM, Maine (AP) — Maine police are investigating a fatal car crash in Windham that killed a 57-year-old man.

Windham police say a car driven by Stephen Aylward of Portland drifted over the center line of Route 302 late Thursday afternoon and crashed head-on into a pickup truck driven by 39-year-old Todd Taylor of Standish.

Police say Aylward died at the scene. Taylor was taken to Maine Medical Center for observation.

Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
