RUMFORD — Rosalie G. Davis, 60, of Robert True Drive in Newry, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Rumford Hospital with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Rumford, Jan. 25, 1951, a daughter of Robert G. and Roberta M. (Smith) Gordon. Rosalie was educated in Dixfield schools.

She was employed for many years as a bartender at Weston’s Pub in Mexico and most recently at Grand Summit Hotel at Sunday River.

Rosalie was an avid coin collector and loved hunting and fishing.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Kenneth L. Davis of Newry; her mother, Roberta Tremblay of Rumford; three children, Erik Frost and wife, Michelle, of Dixfield, Amy Schmersal and husband, Eric, of Rumford and Bobbi Frost of Dixfield; a stepdaughter, Deanna L. Davis of Rumford; three sisters, Brenda Skidgell and husband, William, of Dixfield, Lorraine McLennan and companion, Charles Smith, of Livermore Falls and Nicola Sarrazin of Iowa City, Iowa; a stepsister, Dawn Pratt and husband, Paul, of Wilton; a stepbrother, Terry Brady of Anchorage, Alaska; three grandchildren, Chrystle Frost, Natasha Frost and Michael Frost; and four great-grandchildren, Colby Frost, Desmond Bartley Jr., Danika Bartley and Lillyanna Frost.
