The nation’s Founding Fathers established a “republic,” not a democracy, and they said that it is for a “moral people.”
“Capitalism” is also for a moral people.
Freedom is for everyone — moral, amoral or immoral alike.
No one wants to do business with a dishonest person. No one wants to work for a dishonest person, and no business wants to hire a dishonest person. Still, dishonesty abounds in America and the world. We all suffer because of dishonesty. We even elect dishonest people to represent us. Too many of them lie to get in, and lie to stay in, power.
Freedom, however, does allow for dishonesty if God is not allowed to oversee the freedom and teach people the proper use of it.
Freedom says that I can be offered a bribe, perk or sop to sway my opinion or vote. Freedom also says that I am not forced to accept it. Government officials have the same options as other people; they can accept or refuse the perks offered. But they are the ones offering the bribes to voters so that we would keep them in office.
The government is not God.
As a nation, people have been led astray for almost a century. We have not stood up to the godless people who are trying to destroy America.
People should speak up for God, the creator, and bring him back. “In God we trust.” Do not let them hide him.
William DuBois, Poland
