I am very concerned about the extremely poor level of drivers in Maine. During the last week, cars have cut into my lane four times, missing the front of my car by inches. Had my driver not slowed down fully, we would have collided.
Those cars never even used a signal to indicate they were changing lanes.
Some of the dangerous drivers were old, and I am convinced that after reaching old age, either no one should be driving or there should be frequent testing to indicate a driver is capable of rapidly responding to road conditions.
I also believe that long telephone conversations should be banned, as many people seem to concentrate more on the phone than on driving.
