SOMERSWORTH, N.H. — Sierra-Lynn Frost defeated Alyssa Tretanier in a 132-pound amateur boxing match Saturday night. Frost won by technical knockout in the second round. Frost fights out of Gamache Boxing Club in Lewiston. This was her second victory.

Lisbon Rec sports meeting

LISBON — The Lisbon Junior Athletic League will hold its annual meeting November 6, 2011 at 6 p.m. at the MTM center. Anyone interested in being a board member must attend.

LAHYL registration

LEWISTON — Lewiston Area Youth Hockey League is accepting registrations online for the upcoming season. Evaluations for the recreational (house) division will begin on Monday, October 17. LAYHL also will be hosting a “Try Hockey for Free” event at the Colisee on Nov. 5 at noon. This event is geared toward kids from ages 4 to 9, but kids of all age are welcome to attend. All equipment needed to go on the ice and try hockey will be provided by LAYHL.
