DERRY, N.H. — Mary E. McMillan, 77, died Sunday, Oct. 9, at Parkland Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born in Bethel, Dec. 17, 1933, the daughter of Theodore and Ruth Dunham. She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1953.
She was married to Roland E. McMillan on April 17, 1954. They resided for many years in Rumford, retired to Eustis, Fla., returning to Derry, N.H., in 2008, to be lovingly cared for by their daughter, Darlene, son-in-law, Steven, and grandsons, David and Dylan Owens.
Survivors include her husband, Roland McMillan of Derry, N.H.; daughter, Darlene Owens and her husband, Steven, of Derry, N.H.; sons, Donald McMillan and his wife, Kathy, of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Dale McMillan and his wife, Deborah, of Limerick; granddaughters, Michelle Pelletier Dixfield and Jill McMillan Livermore; grandsons, David Owens and Dylan Owens of Derry, N.H., Michael Swett of Chelsea and Patrick Pelletier of Wilton; sister, Bessie House of Bryant Pond; brother, Roland Dunham of West Paris; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by both parents; sister, Alberta Scribner, formerly of Albany; son, David McMillan, formerly of Wilton, N.H.; and grandson, Steven Owens Jr., formerly of Derry, N.H.
