LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Robert L. Verreault was celebrated on Monday at Holy Cross Church following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. Monsignor Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. During the Mass, words of remembrance were expressed by Robert’s son-in-law, Shawn Ricker and his grandson, Thomas Cocciardi. The U.S. Navy played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Robert’s wife, Cecile Verreault. Pallbearers were Shawn Ricker, Thomas and Joseph Cocciardi, Richard Caron, Harry Turgeon and Kevin Blazer. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant following the committal services at the cemetery.
