LEWISTON — Delia Mae Donohue, 81, of Lisbon Falls, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center with her family at her side.

She was born in Lisbon Falls, Dec. 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Carroll and Elizabeth (Elcik) Small. She lived in the Lisbon Falls area her entire life attending local schools before going to work as a spinner at Worumbo Mill, where she worked for 31 years as she raised her young family.

She later went to work at Kresges in Lewiston, where she worked for 17 years before retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Slovak Catholic Community. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and going to yard sales.

Delia is survived by her son, Joseph Donohue of Bowdoin; her grandchildren, Angela Robinson, Kristyn Donohue and Toria Kuietauskas; two sisters, Bernice Earle of Lewiston and Julie Rancourt and her husband, Maurice, of Florida; special friends, Phil and Bun Berry; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Lesley and Carroll Small; and her sister, Rose Dupal.
