JAY — The Spruce Mountain Area Robotics Team is in need of an enclosed trailer to transport a 6-foot robot to and from competitions.

The trailer would need to be 4 to 5 feet wide and 6 to 8 feet long.

If anyone has one the team could borrow, they are asked let adviser Dan Lemieux know at 897-4336 or [email protected].

Students and staff are on their way to forming a FIRST robotics team and have adopted the name SMART for the first initial of each word in Spruce Mountain Area Robotics Team. Team members are charged with designing a team logo.

The team is also being featured in a Schools That Shine spot on WCSH Channel 6 news.

The group is holding a fundraising car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Livermore Falls Fire Station to help raise funds for the team.
