LEWISTON — George H. Leonard, 59, of Mechanic Falls passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Portland Nov. 3, 1951, the son of George Leonard Jr. and Estella Libby Leonard. He graduated from Edward Little High School and was employed as a woodsman all of his life. He faithfully served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his mother, Estella; brothers and sisters, John and Dan, both of Mechanic Falls, Joel of Poland, Virginia of Lewiston, Tim of Poland, Norman of Oxford, Theresa of South Paris, Mike of Norway and Andy of New Gloucester; many nieces and nephews; his life partner of 32 years, Nellie Black; sons, Ricky Black and Steve Black. He will be missed by his two grandsons, Ricky Black Jr. and Cole Black.

He was predeceased by his father, George; and a brother, Kelly.
