SOUTH PARIS — Paul G. Coville, 83, of South Paris died Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.

He was born in Onset, Mass., on June 20, 1928, the son of Lawrence and Stella Ryder Coville. He married the former Barbara Hall in 1953 in Wareham, Mass. He proudly served his country for more than 24 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Paul worked as a meat cutter in the military, as well as in civilian life. He was a longtime member of the Norway Country Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an avid golfer; registering 13 holes-in-one during his years playing golf. He also loved to fly fish.

Survivors include a brother, Peter Coville and wife, Nancy, of Mattapoisett, Mass.; sister-in-law, Natalie Fearing of Wareham, Mass.; brother-in-law, Donald Hall of Wareham, Mass.; and close friends, Jon and Suzanne Kendrick of Oxford.

He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, on April 18, 2010; and a son, David Coville, on Sept. 13, 2009.
