Harvest supper
STARKS — A harvest supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Starks Memorial Hall, Locke Hill Road. Menu will include ham, vegetables, bread, desserts and beverages.
Cost is adults, $7, and children under 10, $3. Proceeds will benefit the Starks Progressive Club and the United in Christ Presbyterian Church.
Craft show, demo
SALEM — The Salem Pine Tree Club will host a craft show and demonstration for all homemade crafters from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Salem Community Building. Tables will be $8 each.
The club is planning a show for more commercial vendors soon. For more information or a table, call 678-2874 or 678-2011.
Band to appear
SALEM — The Narrow Gauge String Band will return to the Salem Community Building for a 2 p.m. show on Sunday, Oct. 30. The event, hosted by the Salem Pine Tree Club, will be the last show of the summer season. A donation box will be at the door and refreshments will be on sale.
Autumn supper
LIVERMORE FALLS — Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church will have a harvest supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. The church is located at the corner of Church and Knapp streets.
The meal will include ham, potatoes, biscuits and a variety of fall vegetables. Dessert will be homemade pies. Costs are adults, $7, and under 12, $3.
Rabies clinic
PHILLIPS — The rabies clinic has been rescheduled to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Phillips Town Garage. Veterinarian Dr. E. L. Cooper will administer the shots to cats and dogs at a reduced rate.
