WALTHAM, Mass. — Patsy L. Gilbert, 68, of Farmington passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, at Kindred Hospital in Waltham, Mass.

She was born Jan. 23, 1943, in Farmington, the daughter of William W. and Vertie C. (Huff) Meader II. On Dec. 24, 1968, she married James R. Gilbert. Over the years, she worked for Bass Shoe, Farmington Travel, and IP in Jay.

Patsy was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Farmington Garden Club. She knew how to love and was loved by many. Because of this she will be missed but always remembered dearly.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Jimmy; a daughter, Michelle Pucci of Farmington; a son, Jeffrey Chretien and his wife, Teri, of Farmington; a stepson, Robert Gilbert and his wife, Joan, of Portland; grandchildren, Miranda Pucci and her fiance, Jason Tuthill, of Farmington, Kayla Chretien and her fiance, Peter Varney, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Christopher Moore of Farmington; two great-grandchildren, Salina and Kira Tuthill; two brothers, Clyde and Eddy Meader; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Muffin.
