Singer-songwriter Mark Phillips will perform roots music at Baker’s Market Cafe in Wilton on Friday, Oct. 21, as part of Sing to ME in Wilton, ME. Phillips is at home in a variety of styles, from swing and jazz of the 1930s to today’s acoustic hits. He has been known to break out an opera aria after giving rousing renditions of British drinking songs or Woody Guthrie ballads. Admission is by donation, with all proceeds going to the performer.
