RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 87 complaints between midnight Oct. 10 and noon Oct. 16.

Arrests/summonses

Oct. 10 at 1:15 a.m., Robert Montalvo, 42, of Texas was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 on a charge of operating after suspension. Montalvo posted $60 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.

Oct. 10 at 2:47 a.m., Parker Erskine, 22, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Cumberland Street with furnishing liquor to a juvenile and possession of a mutilated identification card. Erskine is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 3.

Oct. 10 at 9:30 a.m., Judith Walker, 62, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Oxford Avenue with violation conditions of release. Walker is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.

Oct. 10 at 10 a.m., Judith Walker, 62, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Congress Street with theft and violation conditions of release. Walker is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.

Oct. 12 at 3:30 a.m., John Brennan, 54, of Dixfield was charged by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Falmouth Street with aggravated criminal mischief, leaving the scene of a property damage crash and failure to report the crash by quickest means. Brennan is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on Dec.16.

Oct. 12 at 11:25 a.m., Jeffrey Hill, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on River Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Hill was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 3.

Oct. 13 at 12:15 p.m., Daniel Powell, 18, of Mississippi was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Bridge Street on a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Powell was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 3.

Assault

Oct. 12 at 5:08 p.m., Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating a report of a juvenile being pushed off her bicycle by two other juveniles on Cumberland Street.

Criminal mischief

Oct. 10 at 6:24 p.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage took a complaint of damage to a gate on Route 2. Estimated loss $100.

Oct. 12 at 3:27 p.m., Officer Eric Richard took a complaint of damage to windows on Penobscot Street. No damage estimate given.

Oct. 16 at 2:21 a.m., Patrolman Joseph Sage observed damage to a vacant building on Spruce Street. Estimated damage $200.

Theft

Oct. 11 at 8:19 a.m., Sgt. Douglas Maifeld investigated theft of coins and change on Cumberland Street. Estimated loss is $90.

Oct. 15 at 7:25 9.m., Cpl. Donald Miller investigated theft of alcohol on Waldo Street. Estimated loss is $20.

Wanted

Daniel Marshall, 25, Mexico and West Paris, is wanted on a Paris District Court warrant charging failure appear for criminal mischief. The warrant is dated Sept. 27, 2011.
