LEWISTON — Community Partners Inc. (CPI) signed up for another Day of Caring, the annual event organized by the United Way of Androscoggin County, to receive a full day of weeding and gardening help from Ouellette and Associates employees.

Employees Daryl Cote, Nancy Bergeron, Michelle Cummings and Sandy Bennett and volunteer Sam Bennett pulled the overgrown weeds in and around the paved walkways bordering the nursing home. They also planted bulbs at the new group home, Lewiston Ridge.

CPI Program Manager Brad Peck, along with Maintenance Staff Bob Whitney, supervised the project and provided a picnic lunch.

CPI has been providing direct support services to adults with developmental disabilities since 1967. For more information, contact Amy Safford at 282-7113, ext. 125.
