MEXICO — As part of the Mexico Public Library’s programming for kids, the library will host an exciting, non-scary Halloween Magic Show with magician Conjuring Carroll at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Calvin Lyons Hall, next door to the library.

Children and adults alike will enjoy family fun entertainment. Conjuring Carroll offers a show of fun, family-oriented magic tricks, sure to astound and amaze any audience.

Conjuring Carroll, a.k.a. Carroll Chapman, lives with his family in Embden and received his Doctor of Magic degree from the International Magician’s Society in 2006.

In addition, any child who comes to the show wearing a costume will receive a small prize, plus a chance to enter a drawing for a gift. After the show, kids will be invited to come over to the library to receive Halloween goodie bags.

While the kids are enjoying the show, parents/caregivers are invited to attend the library’s Harvest Open House, which will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. There will be free refreshments, an indoor book and bake sale and a gift basket raffle.
