New 4H club
LIVERMORE FALLS — The Spruce Mountain 4H Livestock Club is looking for members who have or are interested in small livestock such as poultry, swine, sheep and goats. There will be livestock education, field trips, art projects and cooking projects in addition to community service work.
The club will have an open informational meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at the American Legion, 17 Reynolds Ave. The group will then meet the third Sunday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion beginning in November.

Arts, Crafts Assoc.
FARMINGTON — Franklin County Arts and Crafts Association will hold its second meeting of the fall Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the University of Maine at Farmington North Dining Hall in preparation for its annual Christmas crafts show.
The session will begin at 6:30 p.m. for those who wish to register for the show, followed by a business meeting at 7.

Story hour

JAY/LIVERMORE FALLS — A representative from Thomas College in Waterville will visit Spruce Mountain High School-North in Jay at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, and Spruce Mountain High School-South in Livermore Falls at 9:05 a.m. the same day.
