It offers an opportunity to meet new people with similar interests, develop friendships and to join with others who cherish the priceless heritage enjoyed by all while promoting the ideals of patriotism and love of country. In addition, it offers an incentive to become involved in conservation of natural resources.
There are about 170,000 members in 3,000 chapters in every state and in several foreign countries. Any woman over the age of 18, who can prove a direct bloodline to a Revolutionary War Patriot or to someone who gave aid to the cause, is eligible for membership.
