TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH OF WELD — Maine wardens responded to Tumbledown Mountain on Saturday afternoon to help a hiker who suffered an ankle injury near a trail, said Maine Warden Service spokeswoman Edith Smith.

She said early Saturday evening that a warden emailed her the brief message but didn’t provide details.

“It was nothing life-threatening,” Smith said.
