WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. — Flora L. Roy, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 16, at Brookside Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 5, 1923, in Beecher Falls, Vt., a daughter of Eloi and Andre and Melanie (Johnson) Roy. After graduating from Stephens High School in Rumford, she spent her career working for the Travelers Insurance Co. in Hartford, Conn.

Since retiring, she has resided in White River Junction to be nearer to her sister, Estelle St. Jacques.

In addition to her sister, Estelle, of White River Junction, she leaves a brother, Leonard A. Roy of Rumford; three nephews; three nieces; a grandnephew; four grandnieces; and two great-grandnephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, J. Edward Roy, late of Lady Lake, Fla.
