LEEDS — Joyce Mooney Clark, 44, of Leeds, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Oct. 17.

Joyce was born Aug. 27, 1967, in Charlotte, N.C. She was a wonderful person and enjoyed helping others. She had a heart of gold and always made sure her family was taken care of.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Joseph Clark of Leeds; her three daughters. Kathrine Hatchcock of Titusville, Fla., Kelly Hatchcock of Leeds, and Kody Hatchcock of Leeds; one stepson, Joseph Clark Jr. and her daughter-in-law, Cary Wright, both of Leeds; her five grandchildren, who were her heart and soul — Addison Clark, Wyatt Clark, Nariah Barkley, Nicholas Barkley and Nehemiah Barkley.

Joyce wanted everyone to know how much she loved her children and grandchildren. She also wanted everyone to know her husband, Joe was the love of her life. She wanted to thank Joe for loving her, and for not judging her, and also for being the man he is today. She wanted him to know that she would be waiting in heaven for him.

Joyce also wanted to thank the Saracen’s Motorcycle Club for welcoming her into their family. Joyce’s memory will forever live on and she will be truly missed by many.

The family would also like to give a special thank-you to the friends and family who came out and celebrated Joyce’s life.
