Voters’ rights should never be taken away on the whims of politicians.

For almost 40 years, Maine citizens have had the right to register and vote on the same day. Now, the Republican-led Maine Legislature, with no cases of voter fraud, has taken that right away.

I will vote “yes” on Question 1 to restore voting rights.
