AUBURN — Carl R. Trynor, 58, of Lewiston died Oct. 25, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

He was born in Eastport, Aug. 18, 1953, the son of Edward and Hilda (Friel) Trynor. He grew up in Portland and graduated from Portland High School in 1971. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

On Oct. 1, 1977, he married Deborah Wilcox and moved to the Lewiston area in 2000.

Carl worked for many years as a mechanic for the city of Portland and later for Lee Dodge.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his two children, Melissa Brimage and Robert and Keith Trynor and Mariah; two grandchildren; one stepgrandson; his sister, Hilda Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
