As the election draws near, everyone’s focus will be on candidates who are running for office. With that in mind, I want to share a few thoughts of a individual running for Lewiston City Council in Ward 4 — Doreen Christ.

I cannot imagine a more dedicated and straight-forward individual than she is, to become a spokesperson for this city and its inhabitants.

Lewiston is in need of leadership, someone who would have vision of what needs to be done, while having the ability to see the vision and work with others toward making it come to fruition.

She is that type of person, and that is what Lewiston needs from its leaders.

Her can-do, no-give-up attitude to everything she has confronted in life will make Doreen Christ the right choice for city council.
