BANGOR — Cheyanne Karen Audet, 31, of Turner, died unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family, extended family and friends on Thursday, Oct. 27, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 13, 1980, the daughter of Francis B. Gurschick and Karen Gould.

Cheyanne graduated from University of Maine in Augusta with an Associates Degree in Nursing in 2005. She later completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing through the University of Maine at Fort Kent in 2010.

Cheyanne had been employed at Central Maine Medical as a certified wound nurse specialist and also volunteered with the Ostomy Association. She had just recently become employed by American Medical Technologies as a clinical specialist traveling throughout the state of Maine, educating nurses on best practice for wound care. She also obtained her Certified Legal Nurse Consulting Certification and worked very hard on building her dream of owning her own firm.

Cheyanne enjoyed snowmobiling with her husband, Adam, watching her daughter, Lily, play softball, and her daughter, Abby, racing dirt bikes.

She is survived by her husband, Adam Audet, of Turner, whom she married on July 18, 2009; her children, Lilyan, Abigail and Darion; her siblings, Francis Gurschick of Lewiston, Samuel Gurschick of Orlando, Fla., and Alison Wix of Atwood, Tenn.; her maternal mother, Karen, and her husband, Roger Asselin, of Florida; her maternal grandmother, Mae Holbrook Sennett, of Minot, and maternal grandfather, Richard Gould, of Lewiston; her Aunt Bev Nickerson, Aunt Barbie Gould, and Uncle Roger Sennett Jr., who gave her encouragement in all endeavors; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.

She was predeceased by her paternal father, Francis B. Gurschick; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Gurschick, of West Turner; and her grandfather, Roger K. Sennett, of Minot.
