LISBON — A Lisbon Falls woman was injured Friday afternoon when her car struck a house.
Officer Renee Bernard said Brenda Field, 58, was driving on Free Street and failed to stop at a stop sign at the High Street intersection. Her vehicle went off the left shoulder and struck a house owned by Laurie Crowley.
Bernard said Field was transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with unspecified injuries.
She estimated damage to Field’s 2010 Subaru Forester at $5,000. Damage to the house was confined to the exterior siding and was considered minimal, the officer said.
The accident occurred at 4:38 p.m.
