RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lorraine “Mema” Adley was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Thea Dunn sang “Amazing Grace” and “Ave Maria”; other music selections were “On Eagles Wings” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were read by her granddaughters, Elizabeth Adley and Katherine Collette. Offertory gifts were presented by her grandchildren, David, Jonathan and Celina Adley. Poems were read by granddaughters Katie and Bitz. Personal reflections were shared by her daughter-in-law, Susan Adley. Pallbearers were Al Gallant, Jeff Worthing, Steve Zinck, Scott Gauvin and David Adley. Honorary bearers were Elizabeth, Jonathan, and Celina Adley, and Katherine Collette. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at Brian’s Bistro. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
