LIVERMORE FALLS — The Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, Nov. 1, instead of Monday, Nov. 7, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said.

The reason: Voting booths for Election Day, Nov. 8., will be set up at the town office.

The board will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 1 at the town office. Selectmen will consider a 90-day salary increase for Town Clerk/Treasurer Sue Sapiel.

Sapiel had been a clerk for the Sewer Department at the town office until she became town clerk/treasurer, replacing Kristal Flagg on July 1. Flagg took over as town manager July 1.

“ She will go from $35,000 to $36,000,” Flagg said of Sapiel’s increase.

The board will also meet in executive session with legal counsel during the meeting.

Selectmen will also consider appointment of Patricia Henges to the Board of Appeals.

The appeals board will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the town office.

Members will consider a variance application from Country Lane for David and Michelle Harvey and a request to move a new mobile home onto a slab rather than a 4-foot foundation as required in the town’s Building Lot Standards Ordinance for the Village area, Code Enforcement Officer James Butler Jr. said Friday.

The mobile home is 14 feet by 66 feet, a little bit bigger than the current trailer at 47 Park St., he said.

Butler said he had to deny a building notification permit to the applicant due to not meeting the standard.
