Arrests/summonses
Oct. 25 at 9:28 a.m., Barry Richards, 46, of Livermore was charged by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld with violation conditions of release for a violation on Congress Street. Richards is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 3.
Oct. 25 at 10:50 a.m., Seth Matthews, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of violation conditions of release on Waldo Street. Matthews was unable to post bail and taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec.6.
Oct. 26 at 11:15 a.m., Earl Blanchard, 52, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Waldo Street on a warrant listing two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs. Blanchard was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
Oct. 26 at 3:45 p.m., Richard Dodge, 60, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Congress Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Dodge posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Oct. 26 at 11:10 p.m., Joshua Turbide, 24, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Hancock Street with theft. Turbide is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Oct. 26 at 11:16 p.m., Christopher Sheldon, 26, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Hancock Street on a charge of theft and trafficking in dangerous weapons. Sheldon posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Burglary
Oct. 24 at 3 p.m., Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating a residential burglary on Prospect Avenue. A list of the missing items is being compiled.
Oct. 29 at 1:57 p.m., Patrolman Dave Hodgson is investigating a residential burglary on Waldo Street. Loss of jewelry, cash and medication is estimated at $626.
Criminal mischief
Oct. 25 at 10:46 a.m., Sgt. Douglas Maifeld took a complaint of a window damaged on Falmouth Street. Estimated loss: $50.
Theft
Oct. 25 at 10:45 a.m., Sgt. Douglas Maifeld investigated the theft of a laptop on Hancock Street. The laptop was recovered and the juvenile was suspended from school for the offense.
Oct. 28 at 6:10 p.m., Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating a theft at a Waldo Street business.
Wanted
Larry Chapman, 32, of Mexico and Livermore is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant charging failure to pay fines for operating without a license and violation conditions of release.
