SABATTUS — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Anne C. Lachance was celebrated on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the Mass, Anne’s husband, Normand Lachance and her daughter, Monique Lachance placed the burial pall on her casket. During the Mass, the first reading was read by her sister-in-law, Donna Castonguay and the prayer of the faithful was read by her niece, Allison McCulloch. The offertory was brought to the altar by her grandchildren, Jack, Katie and Kyle Herzig. Words or remembrance were expressed by her brother, Maurice Castonguay and a family friend, Estelle Bouchard. Pallbearers were Michael Blais, Philip Moore, Julien, Denis, Alcide and Maurice Castonguay.
