SANFORD — Brenda J. Tyler, 54, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the Greenwood Center.
She was born in Berlin, N.H., Jan. 21, 1957, a daughter of the late Clarence A. Jr. and Ava E. (Dale) Tyler. She graduated from Gorham High School in 1975, and then attended the New Hampshire Vocational Technical Institute.
For many years, she was employed as a cashier at Wildcat Ski area. Brenda fought a long and courageous battle with MS. A caring and giving individual, she was interested in medical research and any advancements made in looking for a cure for MS. She was always willing to try new treatments. It was her wishes that her body be donated to the University of New England Medical School in hopes that someone may take a professional interest in further developments in the field.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Tyler and his wife, Christine, of Springvale; nephew, Jason Tyler and his wife, Kym; niece, Amy Raymond and her husband, Andrew; and great-nieces, Lydia Doiron, Bree Tyler and Margaret Raymond.
