The Norway-Paris Fish and Game Association dedicated the new clubhouse on Sept. 10 in memory of Leon Truman and all those who made it possible. Truman was a founder and over the years was a “spark plug” in keeping the club active and vital in the community. Jim Alberi, club co-founder, gave a history and Truman’s brother, Ed, gave the dedication speech. The club also presented a plague to Kevin Hancock of Hancock Lumber in appreciation for his help. Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Commissioner Chandler Woodcock spoke on the history of outdoor activities and the role local clubs play in keeping outdoor traditions. A luncheon was served and an open house followed. From left are Jim Alberi, Club President Glenn Huntley, Commissioner Chandler Woodcock, Kevin Hancock, Freda Truman and Ed Truman.
