AUBURN — Central Maine Orthopaedics announces the hiring of Kathleen Cornwall, RN, for its peri-operative unit.

Cornwall will be responsible for patient and family education for pre- and post-operative needs and recovery, and to ensure patients are pre-operatively evaluated and cleared for surgery. Additionally, she will act as a liaison between CMO and area hospitals.

Prior to joining CMO, Cornwall worked at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan as a radiologic technologist. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, and a certificate from the Mid Maine Medical Center School of Radiology in Waterville.

Originally from Winslow, she currently resides in North Yarmouth with her husband and three sons.
