PARIS — An activity-packed Fall Festival was held at the Paris Elementary School on Oct. 22. The three-hour event, hosted by the Parent-Teacher Organization, was attended by more than 200 families.

Activities included a bouncy house, sack races, tricycle course, pumpkin ring toss, apple bowling, horse-drawn wagon rides, cookie decorating, doughnuts on a string, make-your-own “slime,” bean bag toss, story time, face painting, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin crafts, making festive fall frames, a haunted spook walk, Girl Scouts bake sale and refreshments.

Students could have their photos taken with the Paris Elementary School Scarecrow.

Parents and family members helped with the planning, set-up and tear-down of the event, volunteered to oversee activities and donated items.

Plans are being made for a holiday event at the school on Saturday, Dec. 10. The PTO officers for the school year are: Shelley Kennagh and Jenn Colby, co-presidents; Lisa Keisman, vice president; Janet Everett, treasurer; and Julia Herrick, secretary.
