LIVERMORE FALLS — Virgil F. Toothaker, 66, a resident of Diamond Road, Livermore Falls, died unexpectedly at his home Thursday, Nov. 3.

He was born Sept. 19, 1945, in Avon, the son of Maurice C. and Laura V. (Walker) Toothaker. He was a 1963 graduate of Phillips High School. On May 29, 1983, in Livermore Falls, he married Pilar “Pam” Mors.

He worked as a deputy sheriff for Androscoggin Sheriffs Department for several years. He owned and operated Toothaker Logging and retired from the security department at IP after 38 years of service.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Toothaker of Phillips; his wife, Pilar “Pam” Toothaker of Jay; his daughter, Elizabeth Toothaker of Orlando, Fla.; and brothers, Dana Toothaker and his wife, Linda, of Phillips, David Toothaker and his wife, Barbara, of Raleigh, N.C., and Richard Toothaker of Fayette.

He was predeceased by his father, Maurice Toothaker; his previous wife, Helen Dallaire; his brother, Everett Toothaker; and his infant grandson, Aidan Michael Sadie.
