Bowie II

LEWISTON — The wedding of Allison Simard and Calvin Bowie II was held on July 9 at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston. Officiating at the ceremony was Albert Worden, uncle of the bride.

Mrs. Bowie is the daughter of Gary and Cathy Simard of Auburn. She is also the granddaughter of Julie Simard of Auburn and William Kelley of Milbridge. Mr. Bowie is the son of Calvin Bowie I and the late Carlene Bowie of Frenchville.

Stephanie Vigneault, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Veilleux and Carly Smith, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Lauren Hodgkins, daughter of a friend.

Best man was Dana Bowie, nephew of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jason Benner, friend of the bridegroom, and Chad Cote, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Usher was Aaron Simard, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Parker Bowie, great-nephew of the bridegroom.

The bride was escorted down the aisle and given away by her father, Gary Simard. She wore a strapless ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline and she carried a bouquet of Gerbera daisies and pink roses.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston. The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya in Mexico.
