Zumbathon
FARMINGTON — A Zumbathon to benefit the UMF class of 2012 will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the UMF Fitness and Recreation Center. Entrance fee is $5.

Fall festival
WILTON — The First Congregational Church of Wilton will hold a Fall Festival on Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12.
A community rummage sale of good, gently used items will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the church on Main Street. Donations will be accepted.
A Festival public dinner will be served at the church at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. All are invited to come for homemade fall harvest food. Donations will be accepted.

Free luncheon
FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. The menu includes Stan’s “regionally famous” American chop suey, garlic bread, tossed salad and cake.
Delivery service will be available in the Farmington area. Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon to have a meal delivered.
Hunters breakfast
PHILLIPS — A hunters breakfast supporting the Phillips 8th grade class trip will be held from 4:30 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Phillips School. Cost is $6, under 12 $4.
Holiday fair
RANGELEY — Good Shepherd’s Holiday Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, on Main Street.
The fair will feature Christmas trees, homemade fish chowder, reindeer horns which light up and a very special fortune teller. Tables include homemade gifts, cookies and pies, Christmas “treasures” and, starting at 11 a.m., a luncheon of many choices. Proceeds go toward the Episcopal Womens’ outreach projects.
Craft fair
STRONG — There will be a holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Strong Elementary School. This is a benefit for the 8th grade. For more information call 684-3521.
Pork loin dinner
NEW SHARON — A roast pork loin dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Masonic Lodge Hall, Route 2.
The meal includes mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, corn, rolls, apple sauce, pies, tea and coffee. The cost for adults is $8, children ages 6 to 12 $4, and under 6 free. Eat in or take out. Proceeds benefit the building fund.
Homemakers meet
CHESTERVILLE — There will be a meeting of the North Chesterville Extension Homemakers at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Chesterville Town Office on the Dutch Gap Road. Fiber art
FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Trinity United Methodist Church on the Farmington Falls Road. Fiber/fabric artist Mary McFarland from Farmington will show some of her work and explain the process involved in sun printing, painting on fabric using plant life.
Following, a regular monthly meeting will be conducted by club president Amy Palmer. Hostesses will be Annette Tripp, Myrna Vallette and Debby Bliss Bujnocki. The public is invited. For information, call 645-2067.
