BETHEL — Staff from the LePage Administration will attend the next Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast on Nov. 16.

The governor’s senior economic policy adviser, John Butera, and Maine Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner George Gervais will attend the breakfast. Butera will speak about the administration’s accomplishments, which include regulatory, health insurance, welfare, education and tax reform. The discussion will also include the administration’s current efforts to lower energy costs, improve education and boost economic growth in Maine.

Gervais will offer the latest achievements from that agency to include the addition of several business account executives and the new “Business Answers” program. Gervais will also share feedback from the governor’s Job Creation Workshops held in South Portland and Bangor.

The breakfast will be held at The Bethel Inn Resort from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Butera and Gervais will be available to take questions from attendees.

Cost to attend breakfast is $13; chamber members, $10. A buffet breakfast is available. Prepayment is required by Nov. 14. For more information or to register, call 824-2282.
