DIXFIELD — Public memorial visitation for Alton “Buster” Wing of Dixfield were held Friday at the Wiles Remembrance Center. King Hiram Masonic Lodge conducted a Masonic service and the evening visitation concluded with American Legion Post 0100 of Dixfield offering the American Legion prayer service. Public memorial services were held Saturday with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant, followed by a reception at the center. “Uncle Frank” played and sang “The Darkest Hour Is Just Before Dawn” and “Uncle Ned” played and sang “I Saw the Master This Morning.” Public memorial graveside services were held at the South Side Cemetery, Skowhegan, with full military honors presented by Camp Keyes, Augusta.
