A letter written by Thomas Shields of Auburn and published on Oct. 27 contained an error regarding Maine’s voting rolls. According to a Sept. 21 report compiled by Secretary of State Charlie Summers, a recent investigation determined that six noncitizens were found to be on voter lists. The error was edited into the letter.
