MEXICO — Neighborly Senior Citizens met on Oct. 18 at the Calvin Lyons Room at the Mexico Town Hall. Meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis who read several selections followed by the flag salute and singing of “God Bless America.”

Secretary’s report was given by Marge Harlow and treasurer’s report was given by treasurer Bob Richard. Celebrating October birthdays were Louise Richard, Janice Swan and Jeannette Knox. Celebrating October anniversaries were Morton and Sandy Frost, 43 years, and Louise and Bob Richard, 22 years. Door prize winners were Justina Hatch and Bucky Dunham.

Next meeting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Mexico Town Hall, with the playing of nickel beano and a bake sale. Members are asked to bring items for the bake sale.

There is still room for the trip on Dec. 5 to Indian Head in Lincoln, N.H. Cost is $58 which includes the bus, entertainment, photo, gift certificate and buffet. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189. Nonmembers are welcome. Bus will be picking up in Dixfield at 8 a.m. and Mexico at 8:10.
