RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Stephen L. Bernard of Rumford was celebrated Friday at the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius-St. John Church with Fr. Phil Tracy as the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections were “Hosea,” “Because The Lord Is My Shepherd,” “On Eagles Wings,” “Ave Maria” and “He Saw My Fault,” sung by Rena Fitzmorris. Readings were given by Barbara Doherty. Eulogy was given by Rena Fitzmorris. Gift bearers were Jean-Luc Martin, Preston Martin and Baylee Martin. Committal services were conducted by Fr. Tracy. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception was held in the Church hall after the funeral. Arrangements by Meader and Son Funeral Home.
