AUBURN — Two men were indicted by an Androscoggin County grand jury earlier this week in connection to recent stabbings.

Perscell William, 50, was charged with elevated aggravated assault, aggravated assault and violation of condition of release.

Witnesses identified William to police as the assailant in an altercation on an August night at The Cage, an Ash Street bar, that sent Edward Ford, 52, to the hospital with three stab wounds to the chest.

Police arrested William, of 67 Pierce St. a day later.

Ford was brought to a Lewiston hospital to be treated for his injuries and later released.

In an unrelated stabbing, Randall Wilson, 20, of 28 Wakefield St., Lewiston was indicted on one count of elevated aggravated assault and one count of aggravated assault stemming from an incident in September on Pierce and Walnut streets that left a man suffering stab wounds.

That man, Randy Doggett, had apparently confronted Wilson about an altercation involving Doggett’s brother a week earlier. Police said Wilson stabbed him in the upper back, shoulder, elbow and chest.

Wilson had reportedly fled the scene of the stabbing and ducked into a nearby apartment where he hid behind a shower curtain.

A third indictment handed up Wednesday by the Androscoggin County grand jury charged Lisa Lundstrom, 25, of 36 Hogan Road, Lewiston with 27 counts, including 21 felonies. She was charged with 11 counts of burglary, 13 counts of theft by unauthorized taking, one count of attempted burglary and one count of stealing drugs.

The alleged violations took place be Aug. 25 and Sept. 21 at homes in Greene, Lewiston, Leeds and Wales. Lundstrom allegedly stole jewelry, cash, firearms or explosives, savings bonds, iPods, a camera, a camcorder, narcotics and at least six laptop computers worth tens of thousands of dollars.
