RUMFORD — The Rumford Area Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the town hall auditorium. A business meeting will be followed by a program on the history of the Rumford Association for the Advancement of the Performing Arts, presented by Judy Kuhn. The program is open to the public, and new members are welcome.

WOWS to meet

RUMFORD — Widows Or Widowers Sharing will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at the Senior Citizens Hall, 50 Congress St. New member are welcome and dues are $10. For more information, call Barbara Morse at 562-4225.
