LEWISTON — Marshwood Center, 33 Roger St., welcomes Angela Mastrella as its new recreation therapist.

Marshwood Center is a Genesis HealthCare skilled nursing and assisted living facility, offering transitional, short-stay and long-term care, and rehabilitation therapy.

Mastrella is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist with eight years of experience as a health care professional. She received her bachelor of science degree in therapeutic recreation with a concentration in health studies from the University of Southern Maine. As recreation therapist, she is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision of a full scope of recreation services in the center to stimulate patients and residents to have fuller and richer lives.
